Privacy, clearly explained.
This notice explains what information Miles Studios London collects, why we use it and the choices available to you.
Last updated: 17 July 2026. Miles Studios London is the controller of personal information collected through this website and through direct enquiries.
Information we collect
When you make an enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, preferred contact method, event or project details, date, location, budget range and anything else you choose to include in your message.
Our hosting provider may also create basic technical and security logs, such as an IP address, browser information and the time a page was requested.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, check availability, prepare recommendations or quotations, plan and deliver agreed services, maintain business records and protect the website from misuse.
Our usual lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, meeting legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the studio. We do not add enquiry details to a marketing list unless we ask separately and you actively choose to join it.
Who receives your information
The website enquiry form is processed by Formspree, which receives the submission and forwards it to the studio. Formspree states that its infrastructure is hosted through Amazon Web Services in the United States and that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant international transfers.
Information may also be handled by website hosting, email, storage, accounting or professional service providers where necessary. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months so that we can respond to follow-up questions and understand previous conversations. Information connected with a confirmed project, payment, agreement or legal obligation may be kept for longer where reasonably necessary. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.
Cookies and embedded media
The website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses limited browser storage to remember navigation or embedded-media choices. Vimeo and YouTube content is not loaded until you allow embedded media; those providers may then use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and to object to some uses. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email info.milesstudios@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before completing a request.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
We review this notice when the website, our suppliers or the way we use information changes. The latest version will always appear on this page.
